Prices are in US dollars. Purchases need a billing address in the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Sales tax is added only where we are required to collect it; checkout shows any tax and the total before you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Read the cancellation and refund policy.

Monthly amounts reset each paid month (yearly plans: every month of the year). A plan voiced reply counts once, however many sentences it has; with gems, a voiced reply costs 1 gem per started 1,000 characters of the reply, charged once per reply. Image allowances start when image creation opens in the app. Premium-model replies start when the premium model is switched on. Memory is measured in tokens (about ¾ of a word each).
Fair use
Spend order. Your free daily messages are used first, then your plan's monthly allowance, then gems. You keep the free daily allowance on every plan.
Daily caps. Each plan has a daily message cap (Moonlight 150, Velvet 300, Starlight 500 plan messages a day) so the service stays quick for everyone. After the cap, gems still work.
Relaxed mode. After unusually heavy use in a month, an account switches to relaxed mode until its next monthly reset: plan messages keep working, conversation memory drops to 8k tokens, premium-model replies pause, and voiced replies and images use gems.
Full allowance. If a month of plan use ever costs us almost as much as the plan itself, your plan's full allowance for that month is used: plan messages pause until the next monthly reset (yearly plans reset monthly too), and you still have your free daily messages and any gems. The app tells you when this happens.
Busy moments. If the service is very busy, a reply can ask you to try again in a moment.
Gems
Gems are one-time top-ups, paid by card. They do not renew and do not expire while your account exists. They are used only after your free daily allowance and your plan.

Image styles: Realistic, Anime, Artistic and “Looks like my character”. Voice: a voiced reply costs 1 gem per started 1,000 characters of the reply, charged once per reply. The free plan voices up to 10 replies a day and covers up to 1,500 characters of each reply. If a reply or image fails on the provider's side, its gems come back. Gems have no cash value, cannot be transferred and work on NYVELLE only.
Memberships are billed by card through Stripe, in US dollars. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan renews every year, on the same date (UTC), until you cancel. Before you pay, the app shows the price and the renewal terms, and you tick a box to agree. Sales tax is added only where we are required to collect it; checkout shows any tax and the total before you pay.
Cancel online anytime in Account → Manage billing. No phone call or email is needed. Your plan stays active until the end of the month (or year) you already paid for, and you are not charged again. Your companions, chats and export stay available.
A first membership payment can be refunded within 14 days if you have used fewer than 20 messages or images on the plan. Gem packs can be refunded within 14 days if no gems were used. Write to support@nyvelle.app. If a reply, voice or image fails on the provider's side, the message, voiced reply, image or gems it used come back. Full details are in the Terms (Payments, cancellation and refunds).
No. A yearly plan is billed once a year, and its messages, voiced replies and images reset every month, like a monthly plan.
Messages are used in this order: your free daily messages first, then your plan's messages, then gems. Free messages come back every day at 00:00 UTC (midnight UTC; the app shows that time in your time zone). Plan messages come back at your plan's daily or monthly reset. When everything is used up, wait for a reset, or buy gems or a membership to keep chatting now. Nothing is charged automatically: gems are only bought when you choose a pack.
Gems are one-time top-ups. One gem buys a message; a voiced reply costs 1 gem per started 1,000 characters of the reply, charged once per reply (the free plan voices up to 10 replies a day and covers up to 1,500 characters of each reply); an image costs 10 to 25 gems by style. Gems do not expire while your account exists, do not renew, have no cash value and work on NYVELLE only.
To change plans, cancel your current plan in Account → Manage billing, then choose the new plan when the paid period ends.
Yes. Candlelight needs no card and shows no ads. At very busy moments free messages can pause briefly ("Busy, try again in a moment").
